The University of Grenoble Alps opens the Grenoble University International Master’s Scholarship. Applications for this program are open to foreign students (ie students currently enrolled at a university outside France) who apply to one of the following masters offered by the following institutions of higher education and research: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’ArchitectureS GrenobleAG ), Grenoble INP, Sciences Po Grenoble, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).

A master’s degree is awarded to students who have completed a master’s degree in a specific field of study or in the field of professional practice while demonstrating a high level of mastery during the process.

The Master’s is a graduate – level academic program that takes about two years beyond a bachelor’s degree to obtain.

Applicants can apply for the first year of the master’s degree or the second year of the master’s degree. The amount of the scholarship is 8000 euros for the school year. If one of the two semesters is devoted to specializing in funding, the scholarship amount is reduced to 5,000 euros.

The selection of candidates will mainly take into account their academic record and their substantial status.

Eligibility criteria 

  • Applications for Grenoble University International Master’s Scholarship
    are open to foreign students applying to one of the Masters offered by the following institutions of higher education and research: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble (ENSAG), Grenoble INP, Po Grenoble Sciences, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA).
  • Candidates can apply for the first year of a master (and thus they are eligible for a one- or two-year funding) or for the second year of a master (and thus are eligible for one funding year).
  • Programs are open to foreign candidates.
  • These are awarded for studying the subjects offered by the university.

English language requirements: Students from countries where English is not the primary language are required to provide proof of English proficiency. (Native speakers are exempt). The requirement waives candidates from English-speaking countries as well as candidates whose previous degree is from a program taught in English. Grades in English are required for MoSIG, MSIAM, CySec and ROCO programs: TOEFL IBT 78, CBT 210, Paper 547 / TOEIC 700 / Cambridge FCE / IELTS 6.0 min. This is equivalent to CEFR B2 level.

Application procedures for Grenoble University International Master’s Scholarship

The application process is as follows:

  • The student must first submit an application to one of the masters offered by the above academic institutions. The application must relate to the academic year 2021-2022. Please note that each master has a deadline for submitting the application.
  • The university will select the students for the Idex scholarship
  • The results of the master’s degree scholarships will be sent shortly after the results of the admission to the master’s degree to which the student has applied.
